W Fort Lauderdale

Really enjoyed its very caring and attentive staff.

The hotel was perfectly clean and luxury, had incredibly beautiful views of the ocean. There were super beds and luggage storage and a balcony inside the room. Kitchen was a plus. Wonderful central location right by delicious restaurants, and the cruise ship and the airport. There was a casual restaurant nearby...

Absolutely amazing and excellent property with super employees with another manager. Awesome, super location in quieter area of the strip. Appetising nibbles and sushi in the main bar

Design to the top. "W" stands for "Weird". The lobby is the "Living Room", the health club "Sweat", the pool is "Wet" and so on. Great glass shower in the middle of the room => do not share your room with someone you're not intimate with. Jelly fish tank in the restaurant with LED lights. Fur alligator on the bed with remote control in its mouth etc...

I arrived on Saturday evening when the music in the "living room" (sic) was so loud, that I had to scream at the lady behind the reception to get heard. Also, the air condition was way too cold, up to a point where I got so cold in the bar, that I wouldn't have a drink.

The service was great and the food was outstanding.

Location

To be charged for the beach chair, towels, etc..To be charged so much for parking...The Hotel is too dark outside....the Hilton is much nicer with all lights at night....the outside of the Hotel is dead, no life it seems it's necessary more light outside to show the Hotel as nice Hotel....breakfast is not good for a Hotel like that....

Within my network concerning the Fort Lauderdale Boat Show which is organised every year we will definitly advise our netwerk never make a reservation in the W hotel if they care about their clients. Never experianced this in the world.

Cool design, vibrating atmosphere, attentive staff

It should have a coffee maker in the room.

Just a suitable option for a whistle-stop in Fort Lauderdale with value for price. The check-in process had some hiccups, though my assistant was fantastic at securing a good rate.

Not much, to be honest.

Late check-ins - we could not check in before 3pm. They allocated us to a room that had an interleading door. The noise levels were shocking notwithstandign the fact that the guests in the adjoining room were neither playing their music excessively loud nor talking particularly loud - its a structural thing. The hotel is dark and dingy. Their air conditioning squeaked. We were upgraded to a suite as a result of the noise levels but then charged inappropriately and I had to spend 25 minutes at the front desk trying to sort it out with an untrained clerk.

Very friendly attentive staff

No help offered with luggage or to find room or to work gadgets in room. AC set to 55 F on arrival -ridiculous waste of energy. Dirty spashes on wall took 3 days to remove. Room service took 70 minutes to deliver. woken at 2am on first night by alarm radio. Woken at 6-30 am on last night by wake up call to wrong room. Not enough elevators, long waits and crowded elevators. Little things, but at that high price it should be perfect.Not worth the extra for a south view. You still could not get sun on the balcony in March. View not much different to north view, but a big difference in price.

Wonderful and fantastic setting in the impressive area, very close to an appropriate restaurant, park, and W Fort Lauderdale for the last 9 years. New-fashioned rooms with a nice decor, lovely beds with feather pillows.

The location of the W was great! It was easy to get to where we needed to go while there.

The darkness of the hotel was difficult to deal with, and the beds were too hard. It was like sleeping on hotel mattresses of 20 years ago.

I checked in and was kinda surprised by the fine views from my room and the fantastic pool area where I relaxed in the sun. The beach access and the outdoor swimming pool were highlights for me. One small hiccup was the wait for valet, but it didn't overshadow my fun stay 🌞

The rooms are spotless and new-fashioned with baggage storage and it's own balcony.
